Thelma Helen Dilley Dill, 104 years, died Saturday, April 20, 2024, peacefully in her home, under the care of her devoted grandson, Robert Lee Dill. She was born on March 18, 1920, at Elyria Memorial Hospital to Charles & Malinda Dilley.
She was a Huge Fan of: Cleveland baseball, Dallas Cowboys, Price is Right, Wheel of Fortune, and Tiger Woods. She also enjoyed her flower gardens, gambling trips, shopping, quilting and bowling. In the summer she looked forward to spending time in Pennsylvania and Toledo, with her granddaughter and great grandson, Linda & Brian Banas (PA) and her granddaughter Kathy & husband, Raymond (Toledo). Bookworm was her favorite game because the grandchildren could never beat her.
Above all, she enjoyed watching her grand & great grandchildren play ball!
She was preceded in death by her oldest daughter, Jacqueline Cope, husband, Wren Dill, sister, Janet Stanziano, parents, Malinda “Linnie” Dilley and Charles Dilley.
She is survived by her Grandson, Robert Lee Dill, Daughter, Barbara Farley, Daughter, Julia Clanin (Ernest “Bud”), Granddaughter, Linda Farley Banas, Grandson, Thomas Lee Farley, Granddaughter, Kathy Farley Wolfe (Raymond), Grandson, Jamie Clanin (Terri
), Grandson Jason Clanin, Grandson Eric Clanin, Grandson, Christopher Cope, Grandson, Thomas Cope (Jodi), Granddaughter, Lora Vanoy (Matt), Granddaughter Sarah Jackson (John), GREAT Grandchildren: Brian Banas, Logan Wolfe, Bradey Clanin, Alexis Clanin, Noah Wolfe, Casey Wolfe, Brynn Clanin & Knox Clanin.
Duke Funeral Home will be holding a graveside service on Friday, April 26, 2024 @11:00 at River Road Cemetery on Indian Hollow Road, LaGrange, OH.
